Prayer and fasting

There is a group of people out there who have dedicated today for prayer and fasting for us, Shiloh and our case. I just wanted you guys to know that we are so thankful for you! We are so touched and feel so blessed that you are taking this time and making this sacrifice to pray for us! Thank you so much!

This whole process has been so amazing to see how the Lord moves those around us to be passionate about caring for the fatherless! Praying for you all too!

Hi, I'm a friend of Tara's (since she was in grade school) and I've been peeeking into your blog periodically to see pictures of the most adorable baby girl EVER. She's addictively cute, and the love you have for her is obvious. She is so blessed to have been chosen as your daughter.

I thought I would tell you that God and I had a long talk about Shiloh the other night, entreating him to make His plans regarding adding Shiloh to your family come to fruition quickly and completely. And on the Making His Power Obvious to All front, I also suggested a few ideas on how he could bring Shiloh home with some real style. =) I also asked Him to wake up your social worker in the middle of the night with an attack of conscience and urgency regarding your case--and to keep poking him/her in the conscience until the job is done. We also had a few words about changing the hearts and minds of the president and all of the judges and officials that can make or break all of the in-process adoptions in Guatemala. You have a lot of faithful people praying for you, and I have faith that the promises He has made are true, and you will have your precious baby girl home with you soon. I can't wait to peek in and discover THOSE pictures!

Thought I would pop back in to tell you that our church prayed for you and Shiloh and the whole Guatemalan adoption situation yesterday, and I know that many are planning to continue their prayers, so it's not just a one time thing. So there's a hundred more faithful people's prayers added to those you already had. I hope that makes the waiting a teensy bit easier.
