Day two- Embassy day!!!
Last night was a pretty rough night. We ended up having to sleep holding Shiloh, and she would still wake up every hour or so crying and we would have to rock her back to sleep. Needless to say Filipe and I didn't get much rest last night. I think she was just feeling skiddish with the new surroundings and people. I was a little worried about what today would look like with the was she was last night, but she woke up smiling and laughing. It was so fun! The Embassy appointment went by easily and we have been chilling out today. Shiloh has gone from being smiling to fussy and back all day long. I think she is a little constipated, so isn't feeling her best. Be praying that we have a better night tonight and that she continues to adjust and feel better!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! She is so adorable... and truly looks so happy! Each day you will see more and more of that sweet personality coming out. What an amazing journey to get to watch and it is so much sweeter because I have gotten to meet and hold and hug that sweet baby. She is such a precious doll! I am really praying for you that she will settle into a routine quickly!

She is so beautiful! Joe and I were commenting on how she actually looks like you two! We love the pics of her hugging you guys! We are so happy for your family!
She is BEAUTIFUL!!! You look SO happy. I LOVE the picture from the last post where she is laying her head on your shoulder. I know it is rough, but it WILL get better. Bella did the SAME thing with us and she is sleeping through the night now. Hang in there... I will be praying for you.
Glad all went well at the hogar and the Embassy. You will be home soon and that is where you will start to see BIG progress!

Shiloh is just getting you ready for having a baby in your house (wink, winnk)!! :-)
Every time I see her pretty little face it makes me cry. She is one lucky little girl to have such loving parents.
God is good!

Those pictures are gorgeous! I don't know if I've ever seen a prettier little girl. She's so beautiful it's ridiculous. And look how smiley and happy she is! SO GREAT!
Don't let the bad night get you down--our Bennett is only a couple of months older than her, and he still has rough nights like that sometimes, especially when there's been a lot of excitement during the day. It's a normal kid thing, and you did what you needed to do to make sure she felt safe and comforted. Less than 24 hours of official, in-person parentdom and you're already pros!
she's so beautiful! i'm so happy that your family is finally together. transitions are hard, but kids are resilient--you guys are already awesome parents!
She is so beautiful!!! I will be praying for a quick transition for all 3 of you...only 1 day until you are able to start settling her in at home.
Happy birthday mommy Jennifer!!!!
Espero que tenhas o melhor dia de aniversário, ao lado da princesa linda e querida Shiloh e do teu maravilhoso, querido e babado marido Papá Filipe.
Deus vos abençoe ricamente,
Com amor, Neves
She is gorgeous and I love the pic of her snuggling on F's shoulder! It will get better! A little bit every day!
Finally...you can start to settle in as a FAMILY!!!
Many congrats to you! Safe travels home! Take lots of snacks, toys, and whatever gives her comfort for the plane ride. We held off on the bottles until we were on the plane so that Eli would sleep for at least part of the flight. It worked.
Oh...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
what a beautiful little girl ♥
I'm so excited for you guys that you FINALLY get to take her home!!!!
She is beautiful!!!! She sounds just like Emmi when we picked her up. Seriously, she ended up laying on top of me in the night. That is the only way she would go to sleep. She also didn't eat but don't worry. It will pass! It gets much easier once you are in your own house. I am so happy you are together at last!
I think you have a baby model on your hands....she is gorgeous!!!! I am praying that she will continue to transition smoothly.
That last picture of her is too cute... Her bow is really cute, and yes I also think you have a baby model on your hands. :)
OMG - I am PEA GREEN with baby envy - she's gorgeous - she's smiley and she looks perfect with a bow in her hair and a smile on her face!!!!
Congrats! She is a doll.
What a stunningly beautiful baby girl! Congratulations on being united as a family forever!!
